Our staff love going for a Friday afternoon drink or a nice meal, especially with so many options just around the corner. Nothing below takes your fancy? Come and see reception for advice, as we know of many more!

The Bog
A popular Irish Bar with quiz nights and live music.

Baretta Bar & Restaurant
Baretta really is a little piece of Italy in Christchurch. Especially nice in summer to have a drink in their courtyard, although the gas heaters will keep you warm in winter (or you can stay indoors).

Pomeroys
One of our favourite pubs, it is a 20 minute walk from Dorset, but we think it’s worth it! This English style pub boasts an amazing selection of craft beers. With live music on some nights and a cheese dip to die for, this one can’t be missed.

The Carlton Bar
Live music 7 nights a week...do we need to say any more? Combine that with great food as well and you're in for a winner.

Our Favourite Restaurants 

Mediterranean Food Company 
Best Italian in town (but unfortunately only open for lunch)! Reservations are a must, especially if you’d like to sit outside on a sunny day. About a 30 minute walk to work up an appetite, but you won’t be disappointed! They also have a lovely food shop on site with goods imported from Italy.

Little High Eatery
Unique indoor food court with eight scrumptious restaurants to choose from. Perfect for couples, and groups as there is a variety of food to suit anyone. This makes it impossible to argue over where to eat ;-)  

Boo Radleys
Located above tequila Mockingbird it’s a great place for a drink and nibble. Has life music most weekends and a great food menu.

Hachi Hachi
Japanese restaurant that gives you value for money. Delicious meals for a great price and just around the corner from us!

Mexicano’s
Great atmosphere in this Mexican restaurant, but make sure to order two or three taco’s if you’re hungry as some dishes may be small.

Aroy Thai
Aroy Thai has a large selection of delicious Thai food. This restaurant is BYO and especially good for large groups.

Himalayas
Indian at its best as they say and we couldn’t agree more. Yummy curries (Shahi Paneer is our favourite!) with amazing naans to match.
